1993-99   Visiting Lecturer at London Guildhall University, “TV in the Media”, course organisation, supervising student projects and teaching production skills.
1996   City & Guild Media Techniques, North Oxfordshire College
B-TEC Media, Oxford CFE.
1995   "Broadcast Foundation Course" for unemployed women at OFVM (Oxford-Film and Video Makers), part-funded by EC Social fund. Planning course - outline and teaching production skills. Theory lectures.
1991-96   Training courses at OFVM and Swindon Media Arts, mainly film.
1993   Developing and teaching Video Training Project for Traveller women; Setting up vide ounit at a Prison.
1992-93   B-TEC Media at CFE in Oxford (short placement) and A-level media at North Oxfordshire College .
1987-88   Visiting Lecturer at North-Staffordshire College, Audio-Visual Department.
1988   Setting up and teaching a course for unemployed women in photography, Wolverhampton College.
1980-82   Developing and teaching in training projects in Cape Verde. Project consisted of selecting and screening films in target areas, dubbing in Creole, training Cape Verdean community workers. Funding: EC and several NGO’s.
1978-79   Lecturer at the “Deutsche Film- und Fernsehakademie” (German National Filmschool). Supervising all aspects of students’ first year productions, plus evaluation of first year training.
     
     
     
CV
Training at the German National Film School in Berlin (DFFB). Independent documentary film-maker since 1974; Worked also as a camera-person, photographer and editor. Visiting Lecturer in Germany and Britain and in a media project on the Cape Verde Islands.

Two solo photographic exhibitions as well as exhibitions with historic photographs, taken by my grandparents in China. Some publications.
MA (Distinction, Oxford Brookes) with dissertation on women’s images in documentary film in the GDR.

Some knowledge: Chinese.

Long term stays in Cape Verde Islands (1980-82) and Great-Britain (1984-2000).
